News racks to be discontinued for The Yadkin Ripple

The Yadkin Ripple will no longer be supplying newspapers to its outside news vending machines effective immediately.

“We hope to move these sales into close-by stores,” said Sandra Hurley, publisher of The Yadkin Ripple. “We also hope to have a few that are still available — like in front of the office, or the local post office.”

Information will be posted on the news racks for those who wish to subscribe and have the paper mailed to their home.

That information is also available on Page A2 of The Yadkin Ripple.

For those who prefer to buy their newspaper off the stand, please encourage store managers to sell The Yadkin Ripple inside their establishments.

“In many areas, newspapers inside stores and restaurants drive traffic into the stores, and we love helping our local businesses,” said Hurley. The vending machines have become more and more difficult to maintain over the years, according to Hurley.
