Since the crooked commissioners knew they were going to do this BEFORE They were re-elected and then they gave the citizens of Westmoreland County one day notice. I want everyone to remember this when they come up for re-election again. It’s real nice that they got their raise, especially Chew who said he was going to donate 60% of his salary to charity and he still hasn’t done that. It’s nice that many employees got some big raises. No one needs to tell me that county employees are underpaid. I know they are because I worked for the county for 20 years. But now I’m retired and who doesn’t get a raise this year…the retirees, that’s who. The three crooks say it wasn’t in the budget. I want to know where all of the Covid money the county got is. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it went into their pockets. It must be nice to get more money in your paycheck every two weeks for doing a whole lot of nothing. Just ask one of your retirees…oh, wait, we didn’t get any raise.
