    Center rebate equals $438,022.40; down 7.61%

    Shelby County cities received a total of $539,381.40 in sales tax rebates in February. That’s down from February 2023 rebates of 562,254.80. Statewide payments year-to-date total $1,560,377,621.89, up 1.98% from last year’s $1,530,142,730.15.

    In Center (2.0% rate) the February rebate check was $438,022.40. That down 7.61% from last year’s $474,123.74. Year to date rebates for Center are down 7.61% with this year’s $806,020.04 compared to last years $814,766.77.

    Huxley’s rebate (1.0% rate) this month was $1,583.02 down 1.51% from last February’s $1,607.32. For the year, Huxley is up 10.01% $3,607.55 to $3,279.09.

    Joaquin’s rebate (2.0% rate) this month was $$53,051.43, up 23.43% from last February’s $42,979.40. For the year, Joaquin is up 39.64% with $91,459.89 to last year’s $3,279.09.

    Tenaha’s rebate (2.0% rate) this month was $18,212.57, up 15.56% from last February’s $15,760.16. For the year, Tenaha is up 1.47% at $31,568.65 to last year’s $31,108.42.

    Timpson’s rebate (1.5% rate) this month was $28,511.98, up 2.61% from last February’s $27,784.18. For the year, Timpson is up 1.58% at $51,873.76 to last year’s $51,063.05.
