Columbus ranked a top budget-friendly staycation destination

If you ask SumUp, an online financial technology company, they’d recommend a staycation right in the Capital City. In fact, they ranked Columbus the No. 10 best city in the US for a budget-friendly staycation.

The study examined factors such as meal prices, entertainment expenses, cultural amenities, green space availability, and overall offerings of museums and theaters. Here are some interesting takeaways:

• An “expensive” three-course-meal costs $70 on average, which is among the lowest of the top 10.
• CBUS was ranked higher than San Francisco (12) and New York City (17).
• Columbus is the only Ohio city in the top 25.
