According to the Garfield Heights social media post, they were asking for help from the community. The post was entitled "Found Child". "This young child was found wandering around the Grand Division and Burleigh Road area around 6:28 pm. Officers knocked on several doors and houses in the area and could not locate his parents. He appeared to be around two to three years old and could not tell the Police his name or other information.

Do you know him? Is this your child? Is this your relative?

The Police asked, do you know this child or his parents? Please call the Garfield Heights Dispatch at (216) 475-1234.

According to the Garfield Heights website and data-city.com, Garfield Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 29,781 at the time of the 2020 census. A suburb of Cleveland, it is a part of the Cleveland metropolitan area in Cuyahoga County.

"Although Cuyahoga County is dedicated to searching for missing children and adults, we hope that someone will contact the Police and identify this child. No one wants to see a child missing, and we pray for his safety and the safety of his parents," shared a concerned social media poster.

"As a reminder, please watch your children. If you see something, say something. If you know your child is missing—not where they should be—please ask neighbors and call the Police for assistance. Children should know their address and phone number. If they are too young, let's return to pinning a note on the kids. We must do a better job monitoring our kids' whereabouts," scoffed a concerned citizen of Garfield Heights.

At approximately 9:06 pm, the Police reported that the child's parents came forward.

Be a good neighbor; watch out for your neighbors. If your child is missing or if you find a child without supervision, please call the Garfield Heights Police Department immediately at (216) 475-1234.
