    Knox can shoot hoops

    Calvert County resident Martus Knox holds the trophy he earned for capturing the Elks Hoop Shoot regional title at Charlottesville, Va., in a free-throw shooting competition in the 8-9 boys age group. Knox had previously won a Maryland state championship and is next headed to the Hoop Shoot National Championship in Chicago on April 20.
