Abbott: Operation Lone Star Led to 494,400 illegal Immigrant Arrests

    2024-03-13

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced that since the launch of Operation Lone Star in 2021, over 494,400 illegal immigrants have been apprehended at the southern border.

The operation has also led to the arrest of more than 38,100 criminals. In addition to these apprehensions, Texas law enforcement has seized over 458 million doses of fentanyl, according to the 2024 Report to The People Of Texas.

In the last few years, Abbott has taken several measures to curb illegal migration into Texas, including installing a 1,000-foot-long string of 4-foot-wide orange spherical buoys in the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass, Texas.

However, a federal appeals court upheld a lower court ruling ordering Texas to remove the barriers as they violate laws governing navigable waterways along the U.S.-Mexico border. Despite this setback, Abbott remains committed to "holding the line" against illegal immigration.

Do you think Governor Abbott has the right to secure Texas's border?

Best for illegals to come across to the US through California, not through Texas. You will be arrested and sent back to your Country.
