Cherokee County Clerk of Courts Opening Second Location

The Cherokee County Clerk of Courts will soon have a second home.

A second location for the department is scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. on March 18 in the second floor of the Cherokee County Tax Commissioner building on Towne Lake Parkway, Clerk of Courts Patty Baker announced.

The new venue will offer support to the community for passport applications and photos, notary public applications and renewals, along with kiosks for civil filings and copies, she said in a Facebook post.

“This location provides convenient parking and effortless access for all visitors,” Baker said on her Facebook page.

The Clerk of Courts second location and tax commissioner’s office are located at 155 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock.

The second location will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Clerk of Court’s original location remains open in Suite G-170 at the Cherokee County Justice Center, 90 North St. in Canton.
