Panama City Shuts Downtown Streets down for Huge 2 Day Party at House of Henry

    2024-03-14

Panama City is painting the town green all weekend long to celebrate this St. Patricks Day! Harrison Avenue downtown will be closed both Saturday AND Sunday for the 3rd annual St Patrick's Day Festival at the House of Henry, Panama City's downtown Irish Pub.

The festivities start inside House of Henry with Kegs and Eggs each day at 8am. The main stage outside on Harrison avenue opens for performances at 10am each day. The live entertainment schedule for the weekend includes live performances by True Soul, Krooked Kilts, Filmore Drive, Scratch 2020, Gary Michaels, Jay Moody, Corey Hall, and is hosted by DJ No Sleep. There will also be plenty of other events and competitions such as the "most Irish Dressed," Shepherd's pie eating, Tully Hoisting, arm wrestling and pet costume contests with prizes for the winners. House of Henry is also providing authentic irish fare as well as libations for purchase. The St. Pats event is free to the public and provides fun for guests of all ages, but there is a ticketed VIP area. A limited amount of VIP tickets are available and can be purchased in advance. The 2 day festival opens each day at 8am and the fun doesn't stop until 2am.

TheHouse of Henry St. Patrick's Day is likely to be the largest St. Patrick's day event in Panama City and will go on rain or shine! In the unlikely case of inclement weather the party will move to the stage inside of House of Henry.

Good on the news app for finally telling us of an event before the actual event happens. I usually get to hear of these sort of things 2 days after they have happened.
