"Somethin' Bad" by Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert

Putting two of country's greatest female voices together is no doubt going to create a hit. "Somethin Bad" went straight to the top of the charts, becoming Underwood's 13th and Lambert's fifth number one hit. It also went on to land at number 19 on the Hot 100 chart. The dynamic duo received a Grammy nomination for Best Country DUO/Group Performance.

"Girl In A Country Song" by Maddie & Tae

This country hit written by Maddie Font, Tae Kerr and Arron Scherz was an instant hit. Poking fun and bringing to light how girls are portrayed in a lot of country songs and how marginalized they were. Maddie & Tae were only the second female duo in history for their debut single to also be their first number one hit. The music video was a hilarious hit with guys taking the spots of the girls in a typical country video, complete with daisy dukes on. The video ended up winning 2015 Video of the Year at the Country Music Association.

"Follow Your Arrow" by Kacey Musgraves

Musgraves knocked it out of the park with this song. Hitting home with the fact that no matter what the listener does, they'll be judged and criticized so just be true to themselves. It was a number one hit and the lyrics were top tier instagram captions and inspired many tattoos. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it 39th on their list of 100 Greatest Country Songs of all time.

    "American Kids" by Kenny Chesney

This Chesney song is catchy as well as relatable. It dives into what being a kid in America is like. Chesney has a little more of "groovy" feel to the song than his normal beach vibes. It reached the number two spot on the country charts and ranked 23 on the Hot 100 charts.

"Drunk On A Plane" by Dierks Bentley

This song was co-written by Bentley and was certified four times Platinum. It has a fun and catchy tune with lyrics that take listeners on a journey on how he handles being stiffed by his fiance. The music video was a two parter with the second part being Bentley's other hit "Somewhere On A Beach". It also won 2014 Video of the year at the CMA's.

"Sweet Amarillo" by Old Crow Medicine Show

Originally recorded by Bob Dylan, the Old Crow Medicine Show, went on to finish the recording and released it in 2014. The band actually sent their recorded version to Dylan first who made some tweaks to it and loved it.  They went on to record a dramatic music video complete with a barrel racer and wrecked truck.
