A Rhea County woman is now facing charges for possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance after a routine service of a warrant for probation violation.

According to an arrest report, on March 13, 2024, Rhea County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Todd Deleonardis arrived at Rebecca Wilson’s camper residence around 7:05 p.m. to serve a warrant for violation of probation. Wilson gave consent to search her camper and informed Deleonardis of drug paraphernalia located inside the camper oven, the arrest report states.

The deputy said a blue plastic eyeglass container was located inside the oven, and the contents of the eyeglass container included six straws, one syringe, a razor blade and two cotton swabs. Located inside the oven, there was also a square glass plate which held a syringe, a blue plastic spoon and a locket containing burned aluminum foil, according to the report.

Deleonardis said he also recovered a clear plastic baggy containing .09 grams of a dark brown or black substance which he believed to be heroin. The substance has been turned over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation lab for testing.

Deleonardis arrested Rebecca for the outstanding violation of probation warrant and also charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule 1, Heroin. Wilson was transported to the Rhea County Jail where she remains in custody as of press time Friday. The total bond amount is set at $100,000.
