    Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival: Food, Music, and Fun

    Get ready seafood lovers, the Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival returns for 2024 for 3 days of good food, music and fun for the whole family. The festival will take place on Friday, April 12th - Sunday, April 14th at the Jean Lafitte Auditorium and Grounds so mark your calendars as this year's festival celebrates the town’s 50th anniversary.

    In addition to the all the delicious Louisiana food, this year's festival will also feature musical performances by Wayne Toups, Marc Broussard Rockin’ Dopsie, Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition,Easton Corbin and more. There will also be swamp tours, kayak rentals, and an art walk. The event space includes the town’s Wetland Trace, a boardwalk trail through a 41-acre cypress swamp nature preserve, adjacent to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve.

    Jean Lafitte Mayor Tim Kerner said, “From our world-renowned cuisine, music and seafood to our local artists and wildlife, we are celebrating what makes our town special. We invite everyone to come join us in Lafitte to celebrate."
