House of Henry 2 day St. Patricks Day Bash Downtown Panama City Kicks Off With True Soul

    2024-03-16

Downtown Panama City is abuzz early this Saturday morning for the annual St. Patrick's day festival at House of Henry. The city has blocked off Harrison Ave downtown from City Hall all the way to 4th Street in anticipation of thousands of guests for the huge once a year event.

The party kicked off at 10am with a live performance from Panama City favorite True Soul. The band played all kinds of favorites such as The Eagle's hit "Hotel California," music from the Temptations including "My Girl," and contemporary favorites. True soul always includes a variety of music styles in their performances, according to the band's bio: "So many bands play one or two styles of music, but our goal is to incorporate many different styles, giving everyone a chance to hear something they like. We are the band that gives people from all walks of life an opportunity to dance and groove to the beat. If you are looking for a timeless love song or a smooth groove we've got that. If you are looking for something to rock out to we've got that. If you are looking for a country tune with a good story we've got that too. When we put on a performance it's not just a couple guys playing music, it's a concert." True Soul plays today downtown at St. Pat's day until 1PM, and then returns Sunday at 11am for an encore performance.

St. Patrick's Day at House of Henry is free of charge and open to the public. Food and beverages are available for purchase.
