Country icon, Reba McEntire , is setting the record straight after rumors swirled online that she called Taylor Swift an “entitled little brat” following an experience at Super Bowl LVIII.

Over the weekend, Reba took to social media to share a screenshot of a story published by the page, America Loves Liberty , with the following caption: “Reba McEntire talks about how disappointed she was to look up at the big screen while performing The National Anthem, only to see Taylor Swift laughing and drinking and making a mockery of the event.”

The caption then goes on to supposedly quote Reba stating, “I let her have it afterward. She’s an entitled little brat.”

McEntire took to her personal account to set the record straight and call out the false information. “Please don’t believe everything you see on the Internet,” she pleaded to fans. “I did not say this. Taylor is a wonderful artist, strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and music industry.”

This is not the first time Reba has called out false news reports. Last month, she reprimanded another outlet that stated she’s be leaving NBC’s The Voice after an “accidental ‘live’ confession on-air.”

“Please do not click on any articles that say I am leaving The Voice ,” she wrote to fans with a screenshot of the article with the word FALSE written across it. “This is not true. These are fake websites to lure people in with clickbait where they claim I have a company to sell weight loss gummy products. This is false. I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product.”

To close, Reba asked her fans to “Please report these posts if you see them on Facebook or Instagram.”
