If you were in Utah this past weekend, you're aware that it was a pretty stunning couple of days. Warm temperatures, bright sun, and clear skies offered a nice taste of spring. An east wind (unusual for the Wasatch) made snow conditions a little weird, but it was still a good weekend to be out in the mountains. Here's a weekend update from some resorts in the range.

    Alta

This week's east wind blew in a temporary change of season to Alta. Enjoy the spring skiing while it lasts, another winter storm cycle is on its way.

Rumor has it groomers were skiing really well this weekend in the current conditions. It's pretty hard to beat ripping down crisp corduroy under a blue sky with the smell of spring in the air. If you didn't get out this weekend, you may want to sneak in some turns early this week before another storm cycle rolls through.
