    Multi-Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe

Today, I will be sharing a delicious pulled pork recipe using a professional 20-cup (cooked) multi-cooker. If you do not have a multi-cooker like the one I am using, you can also use a crockpot or cook the pork shoulder on the stovetop or in the oven. Just be sure to adjust the cooking time accordingly.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 pork shoulder
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 2 cups of pork stock, beef stock, vegetable stock, or water
    • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons of freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons of smoked paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon of soul seasoning
    • 1 tablespoon of butter
    • Barbecue sauce (optional)

    Instructions:

Begin by pressing the sauté option on your cooker and adding 1 tablespoon of butter. Allow it to melt before adding the chopped onions. Stir and cook until the onions are translucent.

Sprinkle the spices on the pork shoulder, rubbing them in with your fingers.

Transfer the seasoned meat to the pot and use the sauté option to brown it on all sides.

Add 2 cups of stock or water to the pot. Close the lid and select the slow cook, high function on your multi-cooker. Set the timer on the cooker for at least 3 hours and press start. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of the pork shoulder.

Once the meat is cooked, use two forks to shred it. Add barbecue sauce if desired, and serve on buns or sliced bread. Enjoy this flavorful pulled pork dish!
