Retired educators to hear Kinship update

Barron County Retired Educators meet Thursday at the NUE Office Building, 16 W. John St., Rice Lake. All retired teachers, administrators and support staff members are invited.

A time for visiting, with coffee and breakfast pastries, starts at 9:30 a.m., with a suggested donation of $3/person. The program starts at 10:15 a.m. and will feature Jim Connell, executive director of the Turtle Lake and Cumberland Kinship Program. He is a retired teacher and administrator and will tell all about his Kinship story.

A short business meeting will follow his presentation. Make plans to attend. Bring a friend.
