    Cherokee Sheriff's Office Promotes Three Officers

    The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office has announced that three officers have earned promotions.

    Cpl. Kenneth “Eric” Boyd was promoted to sergeant in the Uniform Patrol division, Cpl. Dakota Lyvers was promoted to sergeant in Uniform Patrol, and Sierra Whitfield was promoted from investigator to detective in the Criminal Investigations Division.

    All three were promoted at CSO headquarters in Canton.

    A statement from CSO reads: “Congratulations to all and thank you for all that you do for the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office and the County!”
