    Deryck Whibley promises the untold story of Sum 41 in new memoir, 'Walking Disaster'

    Keeping in line with his 2024 celebrations of all things Sum 41 , frontman Deryck Whibley has announced his new memoir, Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven And Hell , is set to arrive this fall.

    Whibley dropped the news of his upcoming memoir via his personal Instagram account with a release date of October 8 by Gallery Books. According to their official description, Whibley’s memoir will not only detail his rise from "a punk kid in Canada to an international star," it will also tell “the untold story of Sum 41,” as Deryck takes readers “backstage, into the recording booth, and through the highest highs and lowest lows of the band whose story is inextricably woven with his own.“ Pre-orders are available now.

    Right now the band is giving fans around the globe one more trip around the sum, currently on their final tour to toast three decades of music and mayhem after announcing their impending breakup last year with plans for one more album and a live trek to celebrate.     Together since 1996, this final tour will certainly be a massive party for their throngs of fans worldwide. At the moment, they're making their way through Asia before hitting North America (on two legs with guests The Interrupters ), and then onto Europe. See the dates here .
