While performing her hit “Get Him Back!” during her GUTS world tour in Chicago, Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo was surrounded by back up dancers holding paper signs. “Guts Deluxe Out Friday” read the one she was handed, with others naming song titles. As seen in fan videos , the crowd takes a second to take it in and then roars with cheers. “The reveal is everything I LOVE her” one fan commented, with another saying , “I will stay up til midnight and wait til it releases.”

GUTS (spilled) will boast 17 total tracks, including an additional 5 that Rodrigo lovingly called “new tunes” in her social media announcement. Four of the mentioned bonus songs have actually been released before, though hard to track down. “Obsessed” “Girl I’ve Always Been” “Scared of My Guitar” and “Stranger” were "secret" tracks upon the album’s September 2023 release . Each song was spread across 4 different versions of her LP vinyl records, and fans have been searching for the tracks ever since.

While each of these "secret" songs were previously compiled in a limited edition Record Store Day Release , this is the first time that the songs will be fully together in the same place as the original 12 tracks.

One song, however, is entirely new. “So American” was the only unrecognized title written on the backup dancers’ announcement signs. Despite the song being recorded after the first GUTS release, we have zero insight on what the song may bring. Fans are speculating that the track will have the same tongue-in-cheek sarcasm as “All-American B***h,” while others believe it may go a more political route following her support of reproductive health freedom at a Missouri concert and ongoing advocacy with her Fund for Good foundation. For now, Rodrigo is keeping quiet on the song and simply wrote that she is, “stoked for you guys to hear it.”

Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait long! GUTS (spilled) will be available on March 22, with the streaming pre-saves already posted on her website . Until then, get ready to "sink your teeth" into this album by checking out Audacy’s Olivia Rodrigo Radio on the free Audacy app.
