    A public meet-and- greet event at a Marble Falls venue will introduce the public to the newest Marble Falls ISD football family.

    Keri Timmerman, Marble Falls High School athletic director/head football coach, and his family are looking for - ward to meeting attendees to the upcoming event.

    The meet-and-greet is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednes day, March 20 at Bear King Brewery, 207 Avenue G (behind Blue Bonnet Cafe) in Marble Falls.

    The new hire was approved by the MFISD Board of Trustees at the regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023. Timmerman emerged as the final can didate following a rigorous selection process that saw 102 applicants striving for the position.

    Timmerman brings a wealth of experience to Marble Falls ISD, with a diverse background encompassing middle school, high school, and collegiate levels.

    "His resume includes roles across multiple dis tricts as recruiting coordinator, speed and strength coordinator, offensive coordinator, track coach, assistant football coach, head football coach and athletic director,” said dis- trict Communication Spe - cialist Megan Hamilton, in an MFISD statement.

    “His experience in vari- ous levels of management give him insight on how to run a team of coaches at all levels, while keep- ing the ultimate focus on student development." Coach Timmerman holds an undergraduate degree from Baylor University and earned a Master’s in Education in Sports Administration and Management from Hardin-Simmons University.

    Timmerman is not only dedicated to the field but also to his fam ily, faith and community. His wife, Natalie, is a fourth-generation teacher and currently serves as a kindergarten teacher.

    The Timmerman family consists of three children— 18-year-old Addi, a student at Texas Tech University; 16-yearold high school student Doak; and 13-year-old middle school student Brock.

    Timmerman's official start date with Marble Falls ISD on January 8, 2024.
