BGE to hold energy assistance open house at Sollers Point center

BGE is holding a community open house event to provide customers with information and resources about energy assistance programs and energy efficiency programs.

The open house will take place Thursday, March 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, 323 Sollers Point Road in Dundalk.

In addition, The Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP) will be onsite for customers to sign up for energy assistance programs. If customers want to sign up for energy assistance at the event, they will need to bring the following items:

A copy of their photo identificationProof of residenceCopies of Social Security cards for all household members, including childrenProof of their household’s total gross income from the last 30 days for all sources of incomeA copy of their most recent BGE bill with account number

BGE representatives we will also be on hand to share information about upcoming BGE safety and reliability projects, community initiatives, and information for new businesses in Dundalk. BGE is excited to connect with customers to discuss initiatives that matter to their communities. The event will be open house style, with short presentations starting 30 minutes after the event begins.
