According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery listed as Cafe Adeline is planning to make its debut in Berkeley.

Coming to 1999 Ashby Avenue , taking over a spot formerly home to Black Swan Antiques, the restaurant will land near establishments such as European Sleep Works, Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles, and Polish Beaute.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Yasemin Oguz , to inquire about the upcoming eatery, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing discloses that the cafe will offer coffee and tea, sandwiches, soups, and salads — all “made with Turkish taste.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
