Beloit Memorial senior goalie Jillian Traver earns postseason honors

BELOIT — Beloit Memorial senior Jillian Traver of the Rock County Fury girls co-op hockey team has been named to the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association All-State Second Team.

Traver was also one of five finalists for the Jessie Vetter Award given by Wisconsin Prep Hockey to the top female goalie in Wisconsin. The award went to Catterina Donna of Hudson.

Traver tied for second in Wisconsin with 16 goalie wins. She was fourth in save percentage at .933 and eighth in goals against average at 2.09. She allowed 50 goals, amassing 695 saves in 745 chances. She had four shutouts and went 16-8 overall.

For her career, in regular-season games, she had 1,564 saves in 1,694 chances. Including playoffs, she had a .923 save percentage and a 2.66 goals against average. She had 1,629 saves on 1,765 shots on goal, allowing 136 goals. She had six career shutouts.

Rock County senior Emma Kligora from Milton was named to the Second Team at forward. She led Wisconsin in goals with 37 and was third in points with 57.

Kligora was one of five finalists for the Jinelle Siergiej Award won by Autumn Cooper of Superior.
