Considering the last few years of conservatorship battles, and more recent months of divorce proceedings and explosive memoir responses, things have actually been pretty quite on the Britney Spears front as of late. A welcomed lull in the icon's turbulent life, in our personal opinion.

But as it seems, people can’t seem to listen and adhere to one major, and very simple piece of advice, that thanks to Chris Crocker has been echoing in our heads since 2007. "Leave Britney alone!"

Taking to Instagram, Spears admitted she wanted to be open about her struggles, but feared what she has to say will be “too offensive” to share online. That being said, Britney will and must always live her truth. So, while detailing some highlights of her latest beach getaway, including gym sessions, bike rides, and skinny dipping, Spears also shared that it wasn’t all smooth sailing, but didn’t specify exactly what went down.

Noting, “There are a lot of other things that happened on this trip that I’m not sharing as well. Nothing is what it seems sometimes!!! I portray that everything is completely perfect but trust me I’ve been through it as well and I would share those struggles but they are too offensive to share.”

“It would make other people extremely sad and honestly there’s not a damn thing I can do about it,” Spears continued. “So just know my life is not as perfect as it seems… and remember my beautiful friends you’re not alone.”

As always, Britney’s fans rushed to the comments to lift her spirits.

“Britney, I’ve loved you since the day I found out about you when I was 11 years old (in 1998),” one wrote. “I’m so sorry all the s*** you had to go through … I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to many more years of your playful, silly, and beautiful antics! 🥰.”

“We love you. We fought for your freedom. We stand with you while you work thru your trauma,” a second chimed in.

However the post comments have since been turned off and can no longer be seen, but the over 160,000 (and rising) likes of support still remain.

In addition to the trip summary, Britney also posted several pics and videos of her sun-filled beach vacay. Take a look at some below.
