why can't the Kenaitsee Indians buy this property. or how about C.I.R.I out of Anchorage.Doyon already owns more land than any other Alaska native Corporation in Alaska. I'm a Doyon shareholder..but am not Athabascan Indian. I was raised in Soldotna and Kenai areas.i went to school at Soldotna elementary.. Nikiski Elementary.. Redoubt elementary.. Soldotna Jr high..and SOHI. my ancestors were reindeer herders in Point Barrow area. in my opinion..Doyon people aren't from Kenai peninsula community. They should stick to the interior to Prudhoe Bay areas.lol
