    FOODIE PICK: DALIDA S.F.
Dalida has a rock star Chef couple at the helm; Chefs Laura & Sayat Ozyilmaz.

“We built Dalida on the hospitality, culture, fresh ingredients and familiar flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. Our food is best enjoyed shared across the table”.

Dalidia celebrates Modern Mediterranean cuisine with offerings from the ocean, land and garden but mostly from the heart:

    - Ocean: Octopus and Sujuk - Thinly sliced octopus, olive-caper dressing, pork sujuk sauce.
    - Land: Duroc Pork Cheek Souvlaki - Cheeks, crispy potatoes, mustard sauce.
    - Garden: Fattoush Salad - Heirloom beets, persimmons, pita croutons.
    - Entree Highlight: 12-Hour Lamb Shoulder Tandoor - Hawaian spiced keshkek, braised chickpeas.

Dalida also offers an impressive library of wines new world and old.

It’s a list brimming with surprises - at my recent lunch I enjoyed a light delicate, Pinot like red BLATINA from Bosnia. Joy in a glass.

Their cocktail program is knockout too. I’ll have to return for a deeper dive.

For now, enjoy a great meal (lunch, brunch or dinner) and a great post pandemic comeback story by culinary couple Chefs Laura & Sayat who with passion and love created a space for everyone with approachable, thoughtful food for all to be enjoyed and shared.

    Dalida provides Lunch Wednesday - Friday: 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Dinner Wednesday - Sunday: 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., and Brunch Saturday - Sunday: 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

FOODIE INTERVIEW: CHEFS LAURA & SAYAT
The two Chefs behind Dalida , Chefs Laura & Sayat Ozyilmaz are partners in business and in life. Laura is on the line, in the trenches watching her happy but efficient kitchen roll out lunch and dinner and weekend brunch Wednesday to Sunday. Their personal story is a tale of two people who came together with a love for food, family, hospitality & culture and it plays out at Dalida.

“We offer an experience for everyone and value too. We just want to make out diners happy” says Laura.

Enjoy my Foodie Chap chat with this impressive culinary couple who are all about giving everyone a seat at their tasty table:

    MUSIC: THE “BOSS” AT CHASE
Bruce & the E Street Band hit Warriors Way on Sunday at 7:30 P.M. for night two on their S.F. leg of their world tour. The concerts were  rescheduled from 2023. The “Boss” lived up to the moniker (saw the show Thursday) with a rousing two hour fifty minute performance that was “Full On” from beginning to end.  Sure -  Bruce had a 17 piece band to shore him up but the “Boss” led the way in sonic perfection for every second of every single song (29) performed. His voice and presence was as mighty as it ever was. If you have never seen this legend perform, now may just be the time.
