    Tacoma Police Arrest Woman Following Spate of Violent Attacks and Car Thefts

    A woman in Tacoma was arrested by the police late Friday night for allegedly attacking two men and stealing their vehicles.

    The incidents took place in different locations, resulting in both victims being hospitalized with serious injuries.

    First Incident: Axe Attack and Vehicle Theft

    The first incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday in the 1100 block of South Highland Avenue. The suspect, who was known to the victim, used an axe to launch a violent assault before fleeing the scene with the victim's vehicle. The injured victim was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for severe injuries.

    Second Incident: Uber Driver Stabbing and Second Vehicle Theft

    Later that day, the woman abandoned the stolen vehicle and called an Uber. The Uber driver picked her up and drove her to the 3400 block of Ruston Way, where she allegedly stabbed him in the neck before stealing his vehicle.

    Vehicle Recovery and Arrest

    The Tacoma police responded quickly to the second incident, locating the stolen Uber vehicle in the 7400 block of East F Street. They found the woman attempting to hide nearby and promptly took her into custody.

    She now faces charges of assault and robbery, and authorities are investigating the motive behind the violent acts. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.

    The victims are receiving medical care, and the traumatic events have undoubtedly affected their families. The Tacoma Police Department emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in apprehending dangerous criminals and maintaining a safe environment.
