Meet the Baby Wildlife at Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care Center in April!

    2024-04-03

Calling all animal lovers and South Lake Tahoe residents! There's a great way to spend a Saturday supporting your community while having a fun and educational experience. Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care (LTWC) is throwing a "Born to Be Wild: Wildlife Baby Shower" on April 20th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and you're invited!

This free, family-friendly event is a great way to spend quality time with your kids, teens included! They can learn about the important work LTWC does caring for orphaned, injured, and sick baby wildlife. There will be special educational presentations by the rehabilitation staff, offering a unique glimpse into the world of wildlife rehabilitation.

The event will also feature a "very special reveal" – the gender of Porky, LTWC's beloved ambassador porcupine, will be unveiled!

Even if you can't make it to the shower, you can still support the wildlife. LTWC relies on community support to continue their vital work. Consider making a donation online, sending a check, or purchasing supplies from their Wishlist. Every bit helps!

Here are the details for the Wildlife Baby Shower:

    • Date: Saturday, April 20th, 2024
    • Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (drop in anytime)
    • Location: Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, 1551 Al Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
