    Marinette County spring 2024 election results

    Following is a rundown of the unofficial results from Tuesday’s spring election for Marinette County.

    Cities• Marinette: Incumbent Jeffrey Skorik def. Norm Nelson for Ward 2 alderperson, 96 to 34. Incumbent Liz Mikutowski def. Roger Kriederman Jr. for Ward 5 alderperson, 94 to 57. Incumbent Debbie Klegin def. Peter Noppenberg, 58 to 41. Incumbent Judy Grace (1217), Incumbent Cindy Verschay (1209), Martin Shaw (1148) and Incumbent Rose O’Hara (1088) were elected to the Marinette School Board. Incumbent Jamie L. Richardson also received 1001 votes but was not elected.

    • Peshtigo: Katie J. Berman def. Incumbent Cathi Malke for Peshtigo Mayor, 410 to 342. Incumbent Brigitte Schmidt def. Tony O’Neill for District 1 alderperson, 112 to 85. Robert William Warren def. Fred Marsh for District 3 alderperson, 22 to 14.

    • Niagara: Brock Payette (250) and Incumbents Teresa Clement (230) and Karie Curran (196) were elected to the Niagara School Board. Challenger Ben Hanson received 174 votes respectively but was not elected.

    Marinette County Board Podoski def. Incumbent Glenn. L. Broderick for District 15 supervisor, 151 to 103. Jon C. Baumgarten def. Incumbent Christopher Gromala for District 18 alderperson, 131 to 101. David R. Buechler def. Incumbent Trygve A. Rhude for District 22 alderperson, 183 to 143. Incumbent Gail Wanek def. Norm Nelson for District 24 alderperson, 66 to 50. Mayou def. Willquette for District 29 alderperson, 40 to 28. Jim Bird def. Incumbent Denise Oleszak for District 30 alderperson, 92 to 42.

    Towns• Pound: Incumbents Dave Pellman (219) and Mike Zeitler (218) were reelected to the Town of Pound Town Board. Challenger Vern Christopherson received 96 votes but was not elected.

    • Wausaukee: Incumbent Matt Jicha def. Kempinski for Town Supervisor 3, 146 to 125.

    Villages• Pound: Incumbent Bethany Navis (57) and Joan Hannan were elected to the Village of Pound trustees. Challenger Kevin Schutte received 27 votes respectively but was not elected.

    • Crivitz: Incumbent Kris Heidewald (722) and Kim Hanson were elected to the Crivitz School Board. Challenger and Incumbent Gary Huc received 655 votes respectively but was not reelected.
