Right guard/center is the biggest need on the Eagles roster entering the 2024 NFL draft.

I usually don't like taking an interior offensive lineman in the first round, but this year I think it is smart. Ideally the Eagles take a player who has OT potential or a complete stud at OG/C. Land a stud at RG/C and if Cam Jurgens is good you have LG/C/RG set for years.

2024 Eagles NFL Draft Preview: Offensive Tackle

Troy Fautanu, Washington: Fautanu checks every box—elite athlete with position versatility. Some teams see him as a OT prospect while some think he will/can move inside. Is one of the best athletes in the draft at OL with great speed. Eagles could start him at RG right away and maybe move to RT if needed. His nearly 2,000 snaps at RT with 3 sacks allowed is impressive. Would take him at No. 22 and feel very confident he will start somewhere on OL.

Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon: Powers-Johnson would give the Eagles some flexibility on the interior, as he could come in and play C or RG right away. He played mostly center but did get 300+ snaps at RG as well in college. Short arms but elite combination of size/speed. A player I wouldn't normally like at No. 22 but I think makes sense this year.

Graham Barton, Duke: I wouldn't take Barton at No. 22 but he is an interesting prospect. Played LT at Duke but is projected to move inside. I think Stoutland could turn him into a starting RG. Would also be an option at center if Jurgens stays at RG. Could play OT in spots if needed.

Zach Frazier, West Virginia: Not an option at No. 22 but potentially with one of the Eagles 2nd-round picks if he falls below where he is projected to go. Fraizer played only center in college but could move to RG. Not sure if he has the body type/athleticism the Eagles look for in an OL prospect though.

Cooper Beebe, Kansas State: Played left tackle, right tackle and right guard. High football IQ. Not fast/good athlete.

Matt Conclaves, Pittsburgh: Played LT and RT. Great hand technique. Short arms/athleticism could move him inside to OG. Torn ACL.

Christian Hayes, UConn: Played RG for 4 years. Great at pulling/zone blocking. Long arms and strong.

Christian Mahogany, Boston College: Ideal build for a guard. Great in run blocking. Needs work in pass blocking. Played RG.

Sedrick Van Pran, Georgia: Started for 3 years at Georgia. Ok athlete but quick first step. High football IQ.

Zak Zinter, Michigan: 3-year starter at RG. Elite at run blocking. Strong upper body, decent foot speed. Below average athlete
