    Enjoy boudin, books, barbecue, brews, music, flowers, and more this weekend in Louisiana.

    Scott Boudin Festival - April 5, 6 & 7

    125 Lions Club Road

    Beaucoup boudin, music, food, contests, rides, and arts & crafts vendors highlight the 11th Annual Boudin Festival in Scott. Boudin vendors include:

    • Don's Specialty Meats
    • Billy's Boudin
    • The Best Stop Market
    • NuNu's Grocery
    • Menard's Grocery
    • Kartchner's in Scott

    The musical lineup includes:

    • Rouge Krewe, Wayne Toups, and Keith Frank on Friday night
    • Chubby Carrier, Connie G, and Spank the Monkey during the day on Saturday
    • Clay Cormier, Chee Weez, and Chris Ardoin Saturday night
    • Mac Comeaux, Kevin Naquin, Geno Delafosse, and Lil' Nate on Sunday

    Admission is $5 Friday, $10 Saturday, and $5 Sunday.

    Books Along the Teche Literary Festival - New Iberia - April 5, 6 & 7

    317 E. Main Street

    The 8th Annual Books Along the Teche Literary Festival continues this weekend with authors, panelists, presentations, demonstrations, tours, workshops, a symphony concert, food, and much more. Tickets are available as an all-inclusive package or for individual events.

    Hogs for the Cause - New Orleans - April 5 & 6

    6801 Franklin Avenue

    UNO Lakefront Arena Festival Grounds is the setting for a festival of music, barbecue, and community, benefitting local and national children's hospitals. Hogs for the Cause is a two-day event filled with music, food, beer, and fundraising.

    Gates open at 3:30 PM on Friday and 11:00 AM on Saturday. General admission tickets are $50 on Friday night and $60 on Saturday.

    Live @ the Lakefront - Lake Charles - April 5

    900 Lakeshore Drive

    An annual free-to-the-public music and art festival, Live @ the Lakefront features local and regional bands, live art demonstrations, a kids' zone, an outdoor art market, and a food truck court.

    Twin Fest Louisiana - Houma - April 6

    Goode Street

    Located in Downtown Houma, the first ever Twin Fest Louisiana focuses on twins, multiples, and the people who love them. Everyone is invited for a day of food, music, horseback riding, contests, vendors, and more.

    Gates are open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

    Crowville Spring Fling - April 6

    157 Football Field Road

    Set at the Crowville Community Center and grounds north of Winsboro in Franklin Parish, the Crowville Spring Fling is a one-day festival featuring live music, food vendors, exhibits, games, bounce houses, and arts & crafts.

    Hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane - Lafayette - April 6

    2330 Johnston Street

    Located at the Blackham Coliseum, the Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane is Lafayette's premiere garden show and sale. Over 100 gardening-related vendors will provide plants for sale, resources, and activities to local gardeners.

    Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    Boot Brew Festival - Eunice - April 6

    1717 Veteran's Memorial Hwy.

    Held at Lakeview Park and Beach, the Boot Brew Fest is focused on experiencing and learning about home-brewed beer. There will be a home-brewing exhibition, an awards ceremony, food vendors, and a barn dance with music provided by Lukas Meaux & Cajun Heat and Travis Matte & the Kingpins.

    General cover charge is $10.

    The Flower Fest - Baton Rouge - April 6 & 7

    14200 River Road

    Benefitting St. Jude Children's Hospital, The Flower Fest is a floral competition celebrating the talent and ingenuity of floral artists. Admission is $20.

    Abita Springs Busker Festival - April 7

    22044 Main Street

    A free one-day festival of street musicians, the Abita Springs Busker Festival is hosted by the Abita Springs Trailhead Museum.

    The musical lineup includes:

    • Miss Martha & Her Goodtime Gang
    • NOLA Rhythm Method
    • Bad Penny Pleasure Makers
    • Zach Bryson and the Meat Rack
    • Jackson & the Janks
    • Tuba Skinny

    Bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and dancing shoes. Please do not bring food, drinks, or pets.
