The Fairfield Police Department and Texas Rangers are investigating a death that took place in Fairfield last week.

While performing a welfare concern at a residence on the 800 block of Clark Street last Thursday, FPD officers located a deceased person.

During that time, additional officers were called to the scene.

Foul play is suspected in this case. FPD is working with the Texas Rangers to investigate this case.
