    French Quarter Fest: 41st Anniversary of Music, Food and Fun in New Orleans

    The French Quarter Festival returns for 2024 to celebrate its 41st anniversary of good music, food and fun on Thursday, April 11th - Sunday, April 14th. The 4-day festival in New Orleans is the largest free festival in Louisiana and attracts thousands of visitors each year from all over the country.

    More than 20 stages throughout the French Quarter celebrate local music and represent every genre from traditional and contemporary jazz to R&B, New Orleans funk, brass bands, folk, gospel, Latin, Zydeco, classical, cabaret, and international. This year’s festival will feature performances by over 300 artists including Big Freedia, Irma Thomas, Benny Grunch and the Bunch, Hot 8 Brass Band, Lena Prima, Quiana Lynell, Rockin' Dopsie, Amanda Shaw and much more.

    There will also be more than 75 food vendors serving some incredible New Orleans cuisine in throughout Jackson Square, Woldenberg Park, Aquarium Plaza, JAX Brewery, and the Jazz Museum at the Mint. Some of this year's vendors include Landry's, Broussard's, Pat's O, Nori Guys, Pho Bang, Jack Dempsey's, Tujaque's, Plum Street Snowballs and more.

    The French Quarter Festival has been consistently voted “favorite festival”, “favorite food festival”, and “favorite event open to the public” by locals.

    Fans are invited to join festival organizers, sponsors, and partners on Thursday, April 11th at 10 am for the French Quarter Festival Kickoff Parade. The parade starts on Bourbon Street and makes its way to Jackson Square for the Annual Opening Day Ceremony.
