Never trust a realtor. It’s not a complicated process. The title company does most of the work and the realtor is a middle man. “They were always able to negotiate” is such a lie. Realtors always stood by 6 percent is the standard commission and the MLS requires a 60/40 split on the commission. Realtors steer away anything less. What many don’t know is that realtors is actually basically a union with dues. Real estate agents do not have to be realtors but the NAR shuts out non members from the MLS. Basically they violate the right to work laws.
