Look up – but only if you have those glasses on.

Have you heard the news? There’s a solar eclipse happening today. The solar eclipse will be visible across the continental United States. In Boston, viewers will see 92.55% of the sun eclipsed by the moon.

    See the timeline below:

Partial eclipse start time: 2:16 p.m.

    Peak eclipse time: 3:29 p.m.

    Partial eclipse ends: 4:39 p.m.

Need last-minute eclipse glass? The library is offering some while supplies last. You can also purchase them at 7-11, Home Depot and Stop and Shop.

    Can’t find the glasses?

Here are some other ways to watch it without the protective glasses! And NASA is doing a livestream of the eclipse, too! You can tune in here.

For those of you who want to make it an event

It’s a Solarbration at the Omni Boston Seaport! 🌖🌗🌘 Be sure to grab your solar eclipse viewing glasses and be part of an exclusive eclipse viewing on the Third-Floor Elevate Terrace!

Remember, don’t be a moron and look up at the eclipse without your safety glasses. You’ll burn out your retinas!
