Want to own a piece of Disney history? Orlando Resort Cabins , a group founded in 2022, is selling fully furnished cabins straight from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

According to their website and Facebook ad , the cabins were built between 1998 and 2001 and come with everything from bunk beds to air conditioners and more. The units are roughly 500 square feet and sleep up to six people. The kicker? The homes have to be moved from their location in Orlando and will be delivered to your home on axels. If you've ever dreamed of having your very own cabin, now is your chance!

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

If you're not a huge Disney enthusiast, you are probably wondering what Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground even is. Essentially, it is a themed campground located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. (Think summer camp on steroids). For travelers looking to stay at Disney and gain the ultimate outdoor experience, you can either rent one of their new cabins, park a camper, or bring your very own tent. Aside from activities at Disney itself, families can enjoy activities such as archery, horseback riding, canoeing and so much more! For families who love the outdoors, this campsite provides the best of both worlds — camping and Disney World.

    Tiny Home Living

While you might not want to live in a tiny home like the cabins from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, they are undoubtedly a great investment opportunity. Nearly a decade ago the idea of tiny house living appealed to city dwellers and nomads alike. In an effort to free themselves of "things" and live as minimally as possible, the tiny house movement was born. While people in big cities like New York and Chicago have been making do with 300 square feet for years, only recently did people start making their abodes small on purpose. From communities in Portland built solely of tiny homes to backyards in Nashville filled with the smallest Airbnbs known to man (I'm exaggerating, only a little) tiny houses became the newest obsession across the country.

If you're looking to hop on the tiny home bandwagon, the old Fort Wilderness Cabins might just be your in. For less than $50,000 you could have a great investment property option for an Airbnb, Vrbo, rental, and more! While the ad states furniture is included, you can definitely make this space your own. Who wouldn't want a piece of Disney World history?!

Would have been nice if Disney donated them and made communities for homeless vets.
