    Everhart to host Indian folk art workshop

    Local artist Mona Pande will lead the workshop from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

    The Everhart Museum will host “Light on Culture: Indian Folk Art Painting” on Saturday, April 13. Instructor Mona Pande will guide you in creating art in the Pichwai and Madhubani Folk Art Styles.

    The workshop will be noon to 2 p.m. April 13 at the Everhart Museum, 1901 Mulberry St., Scranton.

    It is presented in partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Folk and Traditional Arts Program and is open to everyone regardless of age or experience level. Admission is included with general museum entry of $10 general admission; $5 for seniors and students; free to children 12 and younger and free to members.
