Barn paintings for sale. The Hocking County Historical Society will be offering a silent auction of barn paintings by Robert Kroeger on April 16. They invite residents, neighbors, barn owners and others to bid on the barns. Learn more on page A3.

Blood donors needed. During National Volunteer Month in April, the American Red Cross asks donors to help protect the blood supply by making blood or platelet donation appointments. Donors of all blood types are needed to support critical patient care. Learn more on page A5.
