Highline Public School’s Waskowitz Outdoor Education Center is looking for high school students to serve as counselors for the elementary outdoor school program.

There are 8 weeks to choose from this spring.

“Being a leader at Waskowitz is an incredible opportunity for you to explore a career pathway in education, teaching, counseling, leadership and/or environmental science,” officials said. “Increase your confidence, gain new perspectives, apply life skills and make new friends! We hope to see you back this spring!”

    As a leader, you will:

    • Supervise 5th graders in the cabin, lead them in songs, skits and stories.
    • Make lifelong friends while developing valuable leadership skills.
    • Earn .5 credit.
    • Enjoy delicious meals.

You must commit to a three-day or five-day program (Monday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Friday or Monday-Friday). Transportation will be provided.
