if homes were not cookie cutter homes and built from materials that were more resilient to weather and temperature and the technology we have today, every home could be self sustaining if we just made it a standard practice rather than something that's custom and over priced. In this world it's all about profits over anything that could help humanity. Insurance is a great example of profit over helping humanity, and Big Pharma is getting up there too as well as Healthcare. 30min visit to an appointment is 680 to 800$ for 30 minutes with an appointment. See the problem with this? Insurance covers 50% because they know they will still make a profit on it too from your paychecks every week. Not all is bad in the system except the money part of healthcare and insurance
