What to Do in Tahoe This Weekend April 12-14

Looks like there’s some more variable weather approaching Tahoe, but with closing dates approaching, there’s more spring festivities going down all around Tahoe and the ski resorts this weekend.

Friday 4/12:

• Hot Dog…The Movie showing at Palisades Tahoe
• Relive the glory days of the 80s with a showing of Hot Dog…The Movie along with a Q&A section with some of the cast
• College Fridays at Sierra at Tahoe
• All you broke college kids can score a cheap day ticket at Sierra at Tahoe on Fridays
• End of season bash at Homewood
• Celebrate another season at Homewood with free food, drinks, and music

Saturday 4/13:

• Dummy Downhill at Diamond Peak ** Moved to 4/21
• You have another week to get your dummy ready to send into oblivion
• The Sugar Bowl Uphiller ** Moved to 4/20
• Rack up as many laps on Lincoln as you can…without using the lift
• Pond Skim at Heavenly
• Methodology presented by Vans at Sierra at Tahoe
• Race down a banked slalom course and throw your sickest method on the hip at the bottom to shave time off results

Sunday 4/14:

• Billy Dutton Uphill at Palisades Tahoe
• Race uphill 2,000’ and 3.2 miles on skins, XC skis, snowshoes, boots, anything that’s human powered
• Boreal closing day and Pool Party
• Closing day at Boreal with the first pool jam of the spring at the Evergreen Skatebowl
• Sierra Playgrounds Party at Sierra at Tahoe
• Celebrate 30 years of terrain parks
