They give you 30 days to file an appeal, but don't even bother to send a return envelope. Every year for the past 3 years in my neighborhood property values have been raising anywhere from $10k-30k every year. Not to mention these homes are 70 plus years old and require a lot of work. When the hell does it end. Most of these people are living off social security and can't afford the property taxes. They worked hard their whole lives, for what to give all their money to this corrupt city.

Property taxes are a scam!!!! why should we pay for something that is not tangible. People should pay only when properties are sold. Meanwhile taxes should freeze at bought price.
