For some, obeying God will cost us everything. Some of us are specially chosen to serve him. That means we won’t be able to plan our lives the way we want, because the Lord is our lives.
All the while, the devil will be trying to destroy and kill us. For years now, I have been trying to let the church — even the world — know how real Jesus is. Some have been in the church 20, 30 and 40 years and don’t know him. Even though some find out what their callings are, they never fulfill them because they try to satisfy their own appetite and please God at the same time.
The Bible declares: “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, ‘If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.’” Matthew 16: 24 -25.
We are not hungry enough for the Lord.
Does anyone realize how different this country would be if all the saints would fall in love with the Lord and then serve him with all our hearts? We would experience so much peace, joy and love. The prosperity in this country would be overwhelming. The anointing and the power of God would be so great.
A lot of us would be walking in the supernatural. I’m talking about walking in the spirit realm. Only then would we truly know God.
Unfortunately, man loves darkness more than he loves light. That is why a lot of people nowadays don’t want salvation, and the ones that have it are very slowful. For some, the things of this world have become too irresistible. The result: Evil in this country has multiplied seven times over.
There are not enough people obeying the call of God. That means there are not enough people praying. The results — trouble in this country — are going to get a whole lot worse.
Have you gotten some kind of idea of what obeying the call of God is? It does not mean simply going to church. It means becoming the church. Then when we pray, one person can chase 1,000 devils and two can put 10,000 devils to flight.
I know firsthand that it can be a struggle to get closer to the Lord. It seems like every time we try to do good, evil is ever before us. Don’t forget what I have told you before. The moment you were conceived in your mother’s womb, the enemy wanted to destroy or kill you. He has not let up one bit.
Paul the apostle told us to fight the good fight of faith. Your family and everything that is dear to you are depending on it.
Lastly, I have to remind you of the terrible things that are coming this year. Things are going to happen one after another. Some have already started, but it will get worse.
We cannot put our trust in the leaders of this country. Our only hope is in Jesus Christ. After all, that is why he suffered, bled, died and was resurrected.
