Tyler The Creator Reacts To Footage Of Jerrod Carmichael Confessing His Feelings For Him: ‘I Told The N——A No’

Tyler The Creator took the time to address Jerrod Carmichael confessing his love for him on his reality show.

As we previously reported, During the show which premiered at the end of last month the comedian revealed that he had a crush on his rapper friend, Tyler The Creator and explained what happened after he expressed his love for him.

“I fell in love with my best friend. 1 out of 10, don’t recommend,” Carmichael tells the audience during a stand-up gig featured in the show. “I knew I had to tell him. Things started getting kind of weird between us. I had these feelings… So I texted him. I remember saying, ‘I know you didn’t ask for this, but somewhere down the line I developed feelings for you and I don’t know what to do with that.’ Then I immediately turned my phone off and went into therapy.”

He joked, “My therapist was thrilled. He was so excited! He was like, ‘Man, this s— never happens in real time.’”

When recalling Tyler’s response Carmichael said, “He sent me a voice note. I was so nervous. It was like six seconds… He said, ‘Hahahaha, you stupid b*tch.’ And I don’t really know what that means.”

Well the rapper was recently seen performing at Coachella and he took the time to address the viral moment in front of his fans.

“You guys probably seen my homie tried to f*** me on camera. That was terrible, I told the n——a no and he said but what about if we film it.”

Jerrod Carmichael came out as gay in a candid interview with The New York Times previously. The 34-year-old star, known for his stand-up specials and roles in hit TV shows like “The Carmichael Show” and “Ramy,” made the revelation in an effort to live authentically and share his truth with the world.

“I’ve spent so much of my life hiding who I really am, but I can’t continue to live in fear and shame,” Carmichael shared. “I want to be true to myself and embrace my identity as a gay man.”
