Sophia Di Martino isn’t sure if Loki Season 3 will happen; however, she’s open to reprising her role as Sylvie if she gets a call from Marvel .
Speaking with Variety , Di Martino said she has “no idea, honestly” whether or not a third season of Disney+ Loki will happen. She added, “I’m open to more. But honestly I think the [Season 2] finale was great and if that’s it, I’m very grateful for what we’ve had. But they don’t say anything. The veil of secrecy extends to us, too.”
Di Martino also noted that she’d love to do some kind of MCU crossover project involving Chris Hemsworth ’s Thor.
“I think it would be great to see Sylvie and Thor,” she said. “I think it would be fun to see them get wound up, especially if Loki is in the equation. Three siblings together? The dynamic would be interesting.”
Tom Hiddleston is happy with where Loki Season 2 ends
Tom Hiddleston has also previously stated he’s unsure if there will be another season of Loki; although, he similarly told Deadline he’s satisfied with how things concluded in Season 2.
“I feel so proud of where we’ve ended up in Season 2,” Hiddleston said. “It was very creatively fulfilling to bring something full circle. I always saw him from the very first film as a broken soul with a shattered heart who felt like he didn’t belong … all that grief hardens into grievance.”
At this time, there’s been no official announcement regarding a potential Loki Season 3. There have also been rumors that Hiddleston may appear in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine, though this has also not been confirmed by Marvel Studios at this time.
The Disney+ Loki series was created by Michael Waldron. Along with Hiddleston and Di Martino, it stars Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Tara Strong, Rafael Casal, and Jonathan Majors.
The first two seasons of Loki are currently streaming on Disney+.
