The man accused of causing a crash in the Upstate earlier this month that killed a 3 month old child, has been granted bond.

As we previously reported, the crash happened April 4th on Highway 29 in Anderson County. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a concrete truck crashed into a car pushing the car into a collision with a pick-up truck. The driver of the car was transported to the hospital for treatment. As was 3 month old Jakai Govan who later died at the hospital.

The driver of the concrete truck has been identified as Creshaun Rainey. He's charged with reckless homicide and aggravated assault. Troopers say Rainey admitted to being on his phone when the crash happened.

Rainey was granted a bond of $30,000 Tuesday morning.
