    Wegmans: 2 New North Carolina Markets Coming

    Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. announced in an April 15th, press release, plans for another location in North Carolina. Dan Aken, Vice President of Real Estate and Store Planning, had this to say about the upcoming project.

    Four years after opening our first store in North Carolina, we’re excited to announce that Wegmans is coming to Charlotte,

    The store will be located at North Community House Road, on the east side of the Ballantyne Campus in Charlotte. It will be approximately 110K square feet. The grand opening date should come sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2026.

    The company is also working on a store in Holly Springs at North Carolina Highway 55 and Ralph Stephens Road in Wake County.

    Wegmans currently operates 4 stores within the Tar Heel State in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, West Cary, and Wake Forest. The company runs over 100 stores across 8 eastern states and Washington DC.
