Laura Marling is back with her first album in four years, Patterns in Repeat. The Song for Our Daughter follow-up arrives October 25 (via Chrysalis/Partisan). Below, listen to a single, “Patterns,” and check out the tracklist. Marling will play residencies in London and New York behind the LP: four nights at Hackney Church (October 29 and 30 and November 1 and 2) and two nights at Bowery Ballroom (November 11 and 12).

Earlier today, Judge Glanville announced that the case would not proceed until another judge decides whether he should recuse himself from overseeing the trial. This follows accusations from defense attorneys claiming that Judge Glanville held a secret meeting with prosecutors and key witness Kenneth Copeland to pressure him to testify, which the attorneys argue was improper and unconstitutional.
