According to Thrillist , California ranks as the most beautiful state in America. Per the list, the other states in the top five include Hawaii, Alaska, Utah, and Colorado.

Here's what Thrillist had to say about why they ranked California as the most beautiful place in the U.S.:

"Look, we didn’t really want it to be California. Californians don’t really need more reasons to say “I told you so.” But if we’re being truly honest, it couldn’t really be another state holding it down at the top of the list. Yes, it has issues.
